Tropical Mother's Day Cocktail Party

 Mother's Day Goes Tropical

Disclosure: Product was given to me in exchange for this post. See below for more details.

Bar carts are every where right now. Am I right?  So you were probably expecting a Mother's Day bar cart idea from me right?  Totally understandable.  One tiny problem though. I don't own one and I have no room for one...yet. Ok, I guess that's two tiny problems. But that didn't stop me from bringing you a mini bar idea for Mother's Day.

I went bright and tropical this year for Mother's Day.  I had this whole mega brunch idea I was going to bring you but then our kitty got sick. I shared it here. So instead of a mega brunch I'm bringing you a mini tropical bar idea.

Go tropical this Mother's Day with an outdoor bar. As seen on FizzyParty.com

When I saw this hot pink bar sign and yellow tray in Target's Dollar Spot I had to have them for this Mother's Day tropical bar.  You may have also seen the tray here.  The bright colors were just what I was looking for and they are inexpensive but don't look it. Which made this mini bar very affordable.

Bring the islands to you with an outdoor tropical bar. Invite your friends over for a mini tropical get away.

Serve up a variety of drinks.  Some mom's like me will prefer a sweet drink where as other mom's like a friend of mine will prefer something darker.

Themed cocktail napkins and stir sticks add to the fun and make great photo ops.  It's all about that Instagram shot, right.

I love these pineapple tumblers from Uncommon Goods.    If you don't have pineapple tumblers you can still get that tropical feel with regular cocktail glasses.  Just bring in stir sticks, fruit garnishes and some tropical colored rim sugars.

I kept the treats simple for this mini party by just serving one type. Cupcakes. I topped the cupcakes with my fav flower, Gerbera  Daises.

Mom's love flowers. Why not present them to her on cupcakes.
