Outdoor Halloween Dinning

Outdoor Halloween Dinner Party

Fall is my FAV time of year. Always has been.  The colours of the season go so great with my hair, natural red-head here, it's boots weather, pumpkin everything takes over and the holiday season really begins.  Kicking it off with Halloween, one of my favorite holiday's to throw parties for.   This year before the weather gets too crisp outside invite friends over for an outdoor Halloween dinner party.  Tell them to dress warm in layers cause dinner is served outside.   This party was inspired by Oriental Trading's 'Spooky Soiree' collection.
Set your Halloween dinner party table outside

Paper plates get an upgrade when you place them on top of a charger.   To save money on table linens go to a fabric store and buy enough fabric to cover your table.  Don't have a sewing machine? No problem. I never sew the edges and have had no problems.
Use chargers to dress up paper plates

See how much better that paper plate looks with the charger.  You can pick up chargers on sale at craft stores.  I like the gold because it's super versatile and goes with so many holidays which means you'll end up using it a lot and get your money's worth.

Adding little tulle poms to your cocktail glasses adds a touch of fun and texture.
Dress your outdoor table for a Halloween dinner party

I used this Halloween picture from Oriental Trading  as a tray to hold the potions and as the centerpiece for the table.

    1. Woo hoo!! Thank you. I love those glasses too. Sk Designs did a great job transforming plain martini glasses and of course I had to add one of my poms. :D

  2. Great idea to use chargers with paper plates! I do wish Target had those beakers when I was poking around the dollar bins!

    1. Thank you! Yes, I think using chargers really elevates the paper plates. Oh darn, the beakers would have been great for your Halloween decor. I see posts with Target dollar spot finds all the time I want and then I can't find them.
