To Tweet or not to Tweet?

I don't have a Twitter set up. I'm debating. To Tweet or not to Tweet?

I've been doing some snooping around the party blogs I follow and just about all of them Tweet. Should I be Tweeting I wonder?

I snoop a little more, delving deeper into Tweeting culture.

Just what are these party blogs Tweeting about? What AM I missing?

My findings: the Tweets of party bloggers is the same thing that's in their blog or on their Facebook page. I'm not missing anything. So I think, why Tweet?

**Update: I'm tweeting!  A Lot. Come Tweet with me !

  1. I guess it just increases your chances to drive traffic to the blog you work so hard at? I'd like to hear what people who do tweet think.

  2. I'd like to hear too. Comment away fans!!

  3. We know what you mean, Tiffany! It is just something else to have to manage. We are wondering if we aren't missing out on looking hip and "in the know"...ya know? We aren't currently tweeting. Cheers, Ashleigh & Tiffani, The Drinking Girls

  4. Exactly The Drinking Girls! I feel the same way. That's why I'm still on the telephone wire about this. Ha ha.

  5. I don't tweet but am told I should be doing it. But it just seems redundant to me, too! Just one more thing to manage every day. I don't know! : \

  6. Ha ha Heather, you have the same dilema I do. Do I have time to Tweet?

  7. I came across your blog and love the party idea!

I run a web design business and the general feeling in my industry is that if you have a business you should be on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn (and probably more.) The reason being is that each social network reaches different types of people (for free). Twitter is really good for getting new people to find you, especially if you use appropriate hashtags and wording.

    Hope I helped!

    1. Oh I'm so glad you came across my blog and stopped in for a visit. Thank you for your comment. Yes, you did help :) I appreciate it :)
