Super Bowl Party

Are You Ready For Some Football?
Super Bowl Party
This Super Bowl Sunday it's just my man and I celebrating. Of course I still do up the table with a mini party.  I didn't do a backdrop or table linen because lets be real. How many of you would actually set up a backdrop and a football inspired table linen for just the two of you?  Ok, maybe some of you would, but I bet more wouldn't than would, so.. I'm keeping it real.

We're going to get thirsty eating all those wings and pizza we'll be making on Sunday and these printables from Lil Luna are perfect.
Super Bowl Party, Football party
Living in Oregon we don't have a football team so we tend to root for the Seattle Seahawks.  Which means, Skittles must be on the snack table.

Normally I'm all about baking my own cupcakes but I cheated this time and picked these beauties up from Bliss bake shop. Locals, stop in and get some while they still have some.

Super Bowl Sunday is all about watching the game and eating all day long. I picked up some Seattle Chocolates to nibble on after we stuff our faces with wings, pizza and cupcakes.

Definitely going to need to go running on Monday.

Seahawks 12th Man Party

Thank you 4 Kids Cakes  for bringing us this football party. For more photo's from this party go here

How do you celebrate your favorite NFL team? With a  12th Man party of course! Here in the NW, we have a huge fan base for our Seahawks, that are loud and proud.
Wanting to switch things up from the usual football decorations, we purchased NFL window clings to decorate candy jars.   Shabby sisters made an adorable distressed wooden sign & Shontay had the perfect wreath to tie it all together.  A fun Superbowl t-shirt from Sports Connection was a comfy option if you don't have your own jersey.

For the dessert table, a Hawk cake with a touch of the "12" on it was the perfect touch. To create the backdrop, we used the 12th Man Flag & made paper chains like from when we were all kids.

Cake pops & chocolate covered oreos are always a tween favorite & had to be part of the display.  Fondant topped cupcakes with fun sayings from favorite players were added. Cookies from Sweet Themes Bakery was a must.  My kids are lucky that I make all the other treats their hearts desire - but when it comes to gorgeous cookies - I am happy to support Sweet Themes.  They totally outdid themselves.

Marshmallow pops decorated as footballs (on skewers from Party City) gave us the football element.  No Seahawks party is complete without Skittles candies.  A staple at any grocery store you would think....but fans here are so enthusiastic, they were hard to come by around the Superbowl!  Seahawks player Marshawn Lynch eats them before every game, and they have become a game day necessity around here. They even have a burger at the stadium that is served with a side of skittles!  Our football pops were chocolate dipped marshmallows with a little white chocolate pipped on for the balls stitching.  The blue & green sticks in them are neon skewers from Party City (we left out the orange and green).

Blue and Green cups from the dollar store were embelished with vinyl I had a friend cut out  for me & turned them into Seahawks cups.  Add a printable flag from PartyOn!Designs and they were a hit & a favor all the tweens could take home.  Munchies included chips, popcorn in adorable favor boxes from Banner Events, and a few other items.  We stamped footballs on cups from PartyOn!Designs to hold our veggies.  It was a fun Birthday party that could easily be twisted into a game day party or tail gate.

Kiss 2014 Goodbye

Kiss 2014 Goodbye!

I totally planned on bringing you a recap of the BASH conference I just attended. But then I came across this pic and said, whoa! in all your crafting and excitement for BASH you forgot to share this!

So here it is. I have seen this idea on a few other blogs and loved it but had never done it. I first saw it on Jac o' lyn Murphy and also on Pink Polka Dot Creations . So this year I took the time to send some snail mail to a few friends. I sent my friends their favorite lip balms and a letter.  The letter told my friends how I was so busy in 2014 that I didn't spend as much time with them as I wanted too and that in 2015 I had BIG plans !

What are those big plans? Spending more weekends with them doing things. Not just meeting for lunch but baking, crafting, mini parties and dessert sampling to name a few.

New Year, Kiss 2014 Goodbye
I'll be sharing with you all on social media some of the baking and crafting things we plan on trying so that you can try them along with us. So be sure to follow along on FB, Twitter and Instagram. You can find me under Fizzy Party.

Thank you A Party Studio for the printables.

Wedding Invitations

Minted Review

Have you been to Minted ? Minted asked me to review their products and I'm glad they did. I love this site. There's just so much to choose from. From holiday invitations, to stickers, to notebooks, to wedding invitations. Minted brings artists work to you. And the thing I really like, you can customize! Let's take a peak at what you can find shall we?

Minted Wedding Invitations  has something for everyone. Cute, formal, elegant, fun and everything in between. I had a hard time narrowing down ones to show you. Not only can you order invitations, you can get reception, direction, RSVP cards and thank you cards. Your one stop shop!

I had to share this adorable Woodland  wedding  invitation. It's so fitting with my last name. Green not your color? You can customize it to your wedding colors.
This  Vinyl  wedding invitation just says "You're going to have FUN at this wedding" Boogie down
If elegance is more your style this  Peacock invitation is too pretty to pass up. I can envision the wedding now. Modern, elegant, and very lux.

So many Notebooks to chose from! I really like that I can order the style I like in a notebook, address book ( you bet I still use a paper address book), monthly planner or weekly planner. How great is that?

I am a FIRM believer in snail mail. Everyone gets a little smile in their heart when they see a handwritten note. I've also been meaning to order some Stationary  to send a little note along with orders I receive. All the stationary comes in several different shapes to chose from.  How cute are these?

Fine print: I was asked by Minted to review their products. All opinions are my own. Photo's are from Minted's site and used with their permission.
