Love is Sweet Sweetheart Table
** I was given product by Oriental Trading in exchange for styling this party.
Now that you've got a drink from the bubbly bar let's take a seat and enjoy a delicious meal at this colourful wedding reception.
So I had all these plans of renting two tables, 12 white wood chairs and all the flatware, plates and cups I would need to make the tables all pretty. I was going to set them up in the "park", aka my backyard. But then I remembered it's Rose Festival weekend and always rains Rose Festival weekend. Scratch that idea. I still wanted to set up a table though. So I set up a sweetheart table under our gazebo.
My first sweetheart table. Yep my first. We didn't have one at our wedding. We had a casual reception, just the way we liked it. Buffet style. We sat next to each other of course but we had no designated seats for any one. How'd I do with my first sweetheart table?
I have to admit I'm loving these light pink peonies in the yellow flower box. You may be thinking the red doesn't really go with the rest of the table but if you pop over here, you'll see that it's not out of place.
I'm crushing over the champagne table linen from Party Crush Studio. It's like a wedding dress for your table. Those hearts in the centerpiece are marshmallows. Fun huh? The theme for this wedding was candy after all.
Are you getting married this year? Leave me a comment and tell me about it. I'd love to talk weddings with you.
