Succulent Garden Workshop

I love to be creative and social and  workshops are a great way to combine the two.  When you attend a Fizzy Party craft workshop  you do more than just learn a new skill and take home something you created. You're attending a party, making new friends and having a great time.  I get to help women who say they're not creative be creative and have fun doing it.

In June I hosted a succulent workshop in Beaverton at La Hacienda Real.  Succulents and Mexican food just go together.  It was an intimate group and I thought those that attended would be disappointed that it wasn't a bigger group.  I was SO wrong.

The attendees loved the intimate group.  They had so much fun they didn't even have their phones out! Now that's a sign of a great workshop.

I really enjoyed watching the ladies get creative picking out their succulents and making their gardens. One of the big things I teach at my workshops is that there's no wrong way or right way for the craft item to look.

As long as the person creating the craft likes the way it looks that's all that matters.  I don't want the attendees worrying, stressing  or trying to make the craft perfect. I want attendees to relax, let the creative juices flow and have fun.

These workshops are great for bachelorette parties, bridal showers, birthdays and just because you want to have fun and get creative with your girlfriends.  All workshops are geared towards adults and teenagers.

In real life friendships are dying and this is not acceptable to me.  So gather your girlfriends and have a fun craft night/ day. Don't let your in real life friendships die. That would make me sad.

Woo Hoo!! I'm bringing you another craft night.  I'm SO excited to be teaming up with Live Well Happiness, Melissa Chee,  and Photography Hill to bring you a night of magical unicorn fun and vision board creativity.  Grab your girlfriends and a ticket for a night filled with creativity, make-up, desserts, photos and more. If you've ever wanted to learn about vision boards you have to come! This isn't your typical vision board workshop, this is a PARTY! If your mom group is looking for something creative to do you have to come. Don't have a friend who can come with you? No problem. You won't feel alone at this party. We'll be having so much fun you won't even notice you came by yourself.  

Here's what your ticket and night full of fun include:

• The fabulous Stephanie of Live Well Happiness will be guiding you as you create your vision board.  I'm glad she's showing us how because I'll be learning right along beside you. 
• Party atmosphere will be styled by me 😀 So you know it's going to ROCK. I can't wait to see your faces when you walk into the room. Get your phones out because you're about to blow up your Instagram. 
• Melissa will be turning you into a beautiful unicorn with some sparkly make-up. And you know how much I love sparkly. You're friends who don't come are going to be sad they didn't after they see you in your unicorn sparkly make-up. 
• It wouldn't be a party without a photo booth and we've got one for you. Plus a professional photographer, Photography Hill, to capture you having fun, fun, fun. 
• All vision board supplies provided. 
• Nummies to keep your creativity flowing.  Can't have you getting a brain fog. 
• Swag bags!!! One of my favorite parts of events.  I mean, who doesn't love feeling like a VIP. Going home with a swag bag full of fun.

Opal 28 Birthday Bash

Opal 28 just celebrated their 3rd birthday with a BASH!  I had to attend because Opal 28 is where I held my first event, #FizzyPartyTropFest  . I love this space.  The rooms are just the right size and the outdoor patio space is perfect.

That brie has my name written all over it ;)  My friend got a hold of the olives and said they were really good.  Platters of cheese, olives, crackers and bread are easy to put together for parties.  No cooking and less stressful then trying out a new recipe.  Leaving you more time to enjoy your party.

My friend and I didn't know what kind of cheese that was in the front of the picture there with the sauce over it but it was good.  Putting together a platter of appetizers like this is a great way to try a lot of new cheeses.  Pair a platter like this with wine, add some friends and you have a great afternoon of fun.

Desserts at Opal 28's birthday bash were made by Lux Sucre Desserts.   I knew the desserts were not only going to look good but taste delish.  How did I know?  Because Lux Sucre Desserts made the desserts for #FizzyPartyTropFest 

Sparkly cake pops in purple to match Opal 28's colours.  When my friend and I arrived at the event I went straight for the cake pops. Tasty and moist, just like cake pops are suppose to be.  I refrained and only had one.  I could have easily eaten 2 or 3 ;)

These happy birthday cookies had the perfect amount of shimmer and sparkle to them.  These cookies were perfectly baked and tasted really good.  I was tempted to load my purse up with them.

This cake looked amazing.  My friend and I didn't stay long enough to try a slice but I know it tasted good because I've had Lux Sucre Desserts cake before.

In the back room of Opal 28 Smirk PhotoBooth Co set up.  Of course I jumped right in to get my pictures taken.  Pop over to my Instagram to see my pics.  I loved the sparkly shimmery backdrop choice, the fact that the space was big enough for a whole group of people and you get your pictures right then.

Smirk PhotoBooth Co had a lot of great props to choose from.  My friend, who rarely does photo ops even jumped in and did it.   I think it was because of the great photo props and the fact that you get your pics right then.  The owner, Skylor is super nice and fun too. She makes you feel at ease and gets you to have fun in front of the camera.  Check out all the party fun from the event here.

No event or party is complete without some swag.  When throwing a party you don't have to break the bank when it comes to swag bags.  Little items like stickers, candy and other small items make great swag bag items.

The Toast Wedding Showcase

This past weekend I was invited to attend The Toast Wedding Showcase  held at Elli Studio's in Portland, Oregon.  I was excited to see what Portland area vendors have to offer couples. I've been married 8, 9 years now and was married at the beach so I used beach vendors. What would Portland vendors have in store for us?

I was excited to see A Well Crafted Party 's space because I had met her at some blogger meet-ups before. She did not disappoint. Intimo  Floral captured the eye with their colourful hanging flowers. 

A Well Crafted Party's space just burst with romance. The floral arraignments are gorgeous. So soft yet powerful.

 I was tempted to sneak some of these tasty Hors d' Oeuvres from White Pepper Catering. They wouldn't know if one or two was missing right ;)  
Now I'm not a vintage girl but those cake plates? Come on. Love them. 

Fresh Party Collective's space was gorgeous! All that natural greenery and wood with POPs of colour. You know I love POPs of colour. I'll give you a minute to just soak it all in before you scroll to some close ups.
