Best Friends Party - Part Two

Welcome to part two of the BFF party

Welcome back.  Let's get this party started. 

This last weekend I rocked my inner Kate Spade with this BFF party for two of my friends who helped my man take care of our sick kitty while I was at a conference back in April.

I surprised my friends with some seriously glamorous and tasty macarons from Sprinkle Made and a gift bag full of little goodies. Cute socks, unicorn lip gloss, duck shaped bath sponge, face mask and foot mask.

Caramel macarons. So delicious.  And pretty.

BFF's are special so I treated them to a little cute can of champagne that happened to match the party colors.

Can you believe these macarons?! Bakers seriously impress me with their skills. This is why I save myself time and stress and just order treats for my parties.  Unless it's cupcakes. I make those myself.

The celebrations continued with cookies I ordered from Creating Awesomenessity.  Every time I order cookies from her she nails it!

Best Friends Day

National Best Friends Day

June 8 is National Best Friends Day.  Let your friends know how much they mean to you by throwing a mini party for them. Whether you take them to lunch, throw a BBQ or go all out with a party set up like I did, your friends will appreciate it.

This year I wanted to let two of my friends know how much I appreciate them.  These two friends helped my husband with our sick kitty while I was at a conference back in April.  They came over after work every day the week I was gone.

The party ended up being a little Kate Spade inspired with the black and white stripes, gold and pink.  The inspiration for the party was actually inspired by some plates I saw on Oriental Trading. 

Yep, you can totally see my in the reflection of the vase, hee hee 

These are the plates that inspired this party.  I also got these great premium gold forks that I added pink glitter polka dots too.  I added the pink glitter dots using those little bottles of glitter glue you find at craft stores.  I like to add extra little details like this to plastic silverware.  It makes it look not so plastic.

What's a little girlfriends get together without champagne.  These little cans of Sofia champagne were the perfect color, just the right serving size and just plain cute and fun.

I thanked my friends with delicious caramel macarons from Sprinkle Made.  I also treated them to special cookies but you'll have to come back later this week to see those. 😉
